Most Japanese red filters are R60, equal to Wratten #25.
For yellow I vaguely recall Y11, which most likely equals Wratten #8,
IOW: too light for EIR, while the orange filter (O?) is most likely a
tad too strong.
Such lenses are good arguments to use BTFR-filters (between the film
rails)....one of my motives was a Sigma 8mm/f4.0 (internal screw-in
filters, requiring the lens to be dismounted in two separate parts).
And for opaque filters, this application makes even more sense....no
blocked viewfinder, and continuously mounting & dismounting filters
for each new shot (one of the reasons why I also like my Horizon
202....view/rangefinder cameras are equally comfortable).
Email me privately if you want more details about these BTFR-filters.
