Maco 820 IR film processed in Tmax reversal kit

I tried shooting some Maco 820 IR film this weekend and developed it in the
Kodak Tmax reversal kit. The results were very disappointing, because my
guess at film speed was way off. I had about 2 frames out of the roll that
were visible (but still 3 stops underexposed), all the rest were
underexposed severely. It's not a development problem since the edge
numbers were developed properly. I was using an 89B filter.
The next time I go out shooting by base exposure will be 1 second at f/16 in
full sunlight using an 89B filter and using the Tmax reversal chemistry kit
to give me slides. Needless to say, this film is rather slow! It looks a
lot like Konica.
Look's like Kodak HIE is still my favorite IR film.
Peace Rolland Elliott
