filters

I know this question does not pertain to IR but has anyone had an
expierence with
enhancing filters. I have just aquired a red and a green set of them. No
film shot with them yet but to the naked eye they do change things a
lot.
Would the red enhancer do any thing with IR film?
Any thoughts?????
