I believe that one is splashproof, so even I would hesitate opening
it up, at the risk of screwing up one of the watertight gaskets.

I can supply you with a piece of relatively stiff/thick foil filter, perfect for this
purpose (stiff enough not to buckle loose, flexible enough to follow
the slight curve of that rail).
