Diaphragm Stars

Picking up from the discussion of diffraction, has anyone any
evidence that diaphragm stars (i.e. 'stray' beams of light from
highlights reflected off the inner blades of the iris diaphragm in
the lens - nice effect if you want it) are worse with infrared film?
This might be the case if the anti-reflection coating on the blades
is not so efficient at longer wavelengths.
