Phil,

Have a look at the table in the Infrared FAQ in section 12 "Which Infrared
Filters".


The Hoya R72 is equivalent to an 89B.

The Heliopan RG715  is equivalent to an 88A.


Using an infrared camera you can observe the "wood effect" with both
filters. Slightly more so with the 88A.
