Out of Date IR film and even current IR film is available at very low prices
on www.ebay.com and it is very high quality and kept frozen.  Just punch
in the keyword  "infrared".

Recently, there have been some comments on small spots on some IR
film that was developed.  The reason for this is that it is kept frozen and
it
must be brought up to room temperature before it is loaded in the camera.
The spots are caused by condensation that make those areas of the film
develop faster that have had a spot of condensation.
You should also use very high quality water, reverse osmosis or you can buy
it from a chemical supply house...if it is absolutely important that you
can't
afford to risk a problem.  The problem may be the calcium in the water.
