There is a set for neg retoucheing.. you have a red and black. You use it like spot
tone and you can build up the tone.
It is called Dyene set .
B@x and Adorama carry it. You can find it in a Adorama add under retouching
supplies $6.29 It works

If you have a very stable hand you can always take a _fine_ red felt
tipped pen, preferably water based, and 'spot' the pinholes out on the
negative - at least in the highlights (the darkest bits).
The benefit of spotting with a red pen as opposed to black is that you can
see where you've spotted if you need to wash off the ink because you made a
mistake. This is obviously a lot easier with 4x5 and 120 film than 35mm,
but it can be done.
