On the subject of Olympus cameras, a little something I've worked out that
didn't appear in my manual.
With the OM4-Ti I found the longest exposure it would do on automatic
(centre-weighted) was around 15 seconds. If the built-in spot metering is
used this will be extended to several minutes (The longest I've tried on
auto was 3 minutes, I usually calculate long exposures manually) So if it's
getting really dark it pays to use the spot metering.
