I've used an 89b and 88a. The 88a is better but the E.I. is only about 8.
My local film supplier ordered a B+W 092 for me. It is the same as an
89b. There are some IR filters in 4x5 inch resin available through
Edmund Scientific at a really reasonable price. You can see through them
because they leak about 1 percent green light. The effect on IR is
equvalent to an 89b. You should also be able to order an 89b gel from any
pro kodak dealer. As far a heliopan , they are about $100 per filter and
special order here in the U.S. and non-returnable. Ike at Cachet said he
may
consider importing some for his customers and might get a better price too.
