the answer.....no. but you probably want to mix your photo flo with
distilled water.  In fact kodak says hard water will keep the emulsion
from softening as quickly.
my water comes out of the Muddy MO .
. It's never been a problem for
developers or any other chemistry but it will leave really large water
spots  and dirt on film when it dries unless it is wiped down.
