Fingerprints

Last I had a few problems loading a roll of HIE on the spool, and I
ended up with several shots sporting substantial fingerprints (The
FBI would be proud!). Naturally, the prints won't rub off with a
clean cloth.

Did I just lose the shots, or is there a cure for the fingerprint
disease?
