If you shoot at f/11 to f/16 I wouldn't worry about focus shift problems.  
The best material is Aluminum foil if you like halation of the film and if 
you want a more subdued look, 120 backing paper.

I've never tried mounting a gelatin filter in a RB67, but just mounted an 
opque UV filter in the back of a Nikon N90s. Due to the complexity of the 
mirror shutter mechanics this is not a task for the weak of heart. For any 
35mm autofocus camera it will most likely require modification of the sub 
mirror AF assembly.
