RE: Singer RH70 Back Questions

Hi,
Yes, the back came from e-bay (as did my IR bellows for my Wisner) - but it
was listed as being a graflock back, and it isn't. This is less of an issue
than it would seem as detaching the ground glass off the graflock-back of
the Wisner is as slow, if not slower as changing the backs, so I plan to
build a new back just for the 70mm roll back. This will be a small headache,
but if I do it well (keeping the film-planes equidistant) it should be
easier than what I had originally planned.
I will be sourcing my film through Kodak Canada, and have a steel reel and
tank for my processing. All I have to do now is pick up three 70mm cassettes
from somewhere and I am set.
A new question, so I need actual cassettes, or would two 70mm reels be
enough? I would suspect cassettes are necessary to tension the film over
the pressure plate, but it never hurts to ask.
Take care,
e.
