Well, in theory....
Whack a tree onto a very big rocket and launch it into space, use a few
gravity assists to pick up speed around some planets and stars... as it
gets faster the light returning from it will have a longer wavelength ...
but you may need a good telephoto lens.
This could be useful for those pesky species of conifers that resist a nice
IR effect
... rough day at the office ;-)
