For some reason, I was under this impression, too until I recently
pulled out my Sony 8mm camcorder...and a somewhat low end model at that
(CCD-SC5). Out of curiosity, I cut a small piece of Lee polyester #87
filter and fastened it over the lens. I'll be damned...IR camcorder!
Black skies, white foliage, alien-like eyes on people. And it had been
sitting in the closet for a couple years.
I dug it up because my sister wanted to borrow it. Now I can't wait to
get it back.
