Josh,

The Cokin filter should be fine.

Avert your eyes if you don't like shameless commercial plugs.....

The CoCam filters are more resilient to scratches as they are made from
optical resin but they are more expensive.

I am surprised that you have not been able to find other infrared filters -
B&H sell them, as of course does CoCam.
