Re: canvas prints ???



Most all larger labs do several kinds of canvas prints.

Most digitize the image and print it with ink jet on coated canvas. Some of
the old timers strip the emulsion off photo paper and stick it on canvas.
Expensive, and it really changes the look of some prints.

I do canvas prints all the time on my Epson 1270 and they look great. But
don't let the print sit out where the inks can oxidize or the blacks will
turn brassy looking.

Print the image then spray it with a coating like Krylon  UV- Resistant
clear.

Find the best canvas you can, coated Azon is pretty good. You can get a tube
full of 24"x 36" for free from azon if your a good beggar.
