You talk it on exactly as you would canvas onto a stretcher frame, prior to painting...
Let it dry a bit first so it is not sopping wet...
Try to make sure you have a frame small enough so that you can double over the linen
along the frame sides before tacking it down..
Then get it tight and as even as possible when you tack it down with a staple gun..
The linen will tighten significantly as it dries and you should get a nice drum taught
surface..
