Jim,

Thanks for clearly stating what needed to be said about this subject.  This 
mailing list is full of well-educated people(Ben, Dirk, etc).  Anyway, 
besides photography, my REAL job is teaching high school biology and 
environmental science.  Your are certainly an expert in your field(no pun 
intended).  People don't realize or are simply ignorant of how our biosphere 
works.  I just wanted to say thank you for stepping up when someone said 
something silly.
