New camera?

I had been shooting for years with my old F3, but recently (due
to retinal problems) had to go to autofocus.  It's a new world
for me.

And my question is - there's no mark on the camera body or lens
for infrared.  Do I just use autofocus with infrared film?  This
is the Nikon F100, and the manual doesn't talk about infrared
at all.

BTW, we're just back from Santa Fe.  The haze/smoke from the
fires near Taos and Los Alamos was visible just about every day.
