New member intro

Hmm, well, you might think differently after reading some of my stoopid
newbie questions.  First, as requested, I'll introduce myself.

- Name: Tim Adams

- Profession/Study: Commercial roofing sales and consulting since 1980.

- Country: This one, errr, US.

- Personal history of photography: Amost none, and certainly no IR.  I use a
digital camera for roof reports, if that counts:-)

- Preferred subjects: Which IR color camera do I need for roof moisture
surveys (leaning toward PalmIR Pro), and subjects about how much $
thermographers charge...since I haven't been able to get anyone to tell me
yet:-)

- Materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry): none yet

- Format (35mm/medium format/large format): Huh?:-)

- Other strange hobbies: Ultralight pilot and karate instructor, but I'm
harmless as a pet frog.

- How did you find out about this list: Alta Vista search

- Expand on anything photographic you like: Okay, the reason I think George
W. Bush should be elected is...just kidding.  I know nothing about IR yet
and so have nothing to offer.  Going to take the Level 1 Snell course in
September hopefully.  Intend to buy a camera just as soon as I figure out
what I need.  Pitches from salesmen welcome at adams@xxxxxxxx
