I would DEFINITIVELY suggest you pyro as a pretty good video capture card,
especially with the sony firewire capture card.  You need windows 98 SE OR
Windows 2000 (wich I really suggest you).

I have a p233 MMX with 96 megs of ram and I don't drop frame, and the video
sequences are pretty neat (if anyone wants a 5-10 seconds of video to see
the quality, IR or normal, I could do that with pleasure to anyone on the
list).

BUT BEWARE : You absolutly need a 7200 RPM HD to be able to capture without
dropping frame, since 3.3 megs / seconds are require for pure .AVI DV format
with sound.  ULEAD media studio wich come with the pyro card is perfect to
do little work on scenes and to save in .asf, .avi, .rm (realmedia), .mpeg,
.manyothers.

I will even do a nightshot webcam in Montreal and the end of the summer, as
soon I will have my new dual computer.
