I only recently switched to HC-110 for HIE. The main reason was that I
don't really like the kind of grain D-76 produces. It's not so much a
problem with the size of the grain, but rather with its overall
appearance. Especially when printed in really large format :-))), the
negs developed in HC-110 simply look nicer...
So far I used HC-110 Dil.B. I was quite happy with the time recommended
by Kodak (6,0 min. or so I think).
Of course I would be very interested to hear abot your ISo setting and
your dev. Time/temperature in Dil.A ;-)
