I use solution A the same way recommended for solution B. I process my film
for 6 minutes, stop solution for 1 minute and fixer for 10 minutes. I
agitate by turning film can over twice every 30 seconds in developer and stop
bath and once every minute in fixer.
I rinse for 15 minutes, use a hypoclear for 3 minutes agitation every 30
seconds. Final rinse for another 15 minutes, photo flo solution and hang to
dry. I do use bottled water for mixing HC110, Stop bath and Fixer. But that
is all.
I expose my film at asa 100 on normal days, I like the grain I get on
100, it seems the higher I set my asa/iso, the more grain I seem to get. I
think because the film over exposes at a higher asa setting. But I will up
my asa/iso if I am shooting at night or in very overcast conditions. I will
also shoot it as low as 50 asa/iso if I am shooting in very bright locations,
such as the beach with all the sun and white sand. I have even put on 2 red
filters at the beach, to cut some of the glare. It seemed to work ok. I
have attached a link of my new prints to view if you are interested. If you
do visit, click on one of the images and when you get to the second page, you
will see the SLIDE SHOW in the upper right of the tool bar. Click that and
then click the word FAST. You will be able to view all photos at full size. <
