Well, I've tried to think of anything I did differently and have come up empty?
I always use a changing bag whenever handling the film. I do have it processed
at a lab here in Washington DC, so I thought they could have mishandled it, but
I'm unsure? They always call me to verify that it is indeed B&W Infrared and
the same person processes it all the time, so I don't think that is the problem
either?
Any idea's??
//
hmm. I've been having problems due to heat and humidity. a bit of background fog. very, very light. I do my own processing. heat has been 90+ here (F), humidity 90%. nasty.
along the edges of both sides is possibly water on the reels before processing, or some sort of light leak onto the cassette EDGES. this is different from the general overall fog that occurs on the film. usually when you're getting the film off of the spool in the dark.
of course, if you've noticed, Kodak no longer says that a gallon of fixer is good for 100 sheets of 8 x 10 film (or about 100 rolls of 35mm).....
