Sand and other questions...

I shot a 35mm roll of HIE with a #25 at the beach this last weekend.
The Dunes in Michigan. It will be 2 months till I finish my darkroom so I
cannot see the results for some time.
My Questions:
1. Will it hurt not the develop the film for 2 months (should I refrig or
freeze the exposed film?)
2. What will the sand look like? (I am guessing it total reflects the
IR??)
3. I want the least grain possible, what developer, time and temp should I
use? (I know NOT Rodinal..)
4. I set my Nikon FE2 at ASA50, used a #25 red, and bracketed by 2 stops in
either direction using the camera's meter, will I be O.K.??

Unrelated questions, but I wanted to ask you brainiacs!!
5. Do plastic 4x5 riteway film holder block IR? I just bought them from
Midwest Photo... I am not sure, but I think the slides are plastic..
6. TMAX developer with TMAX film I have found too contrasty. Should I
reduce the processing time, or switch developers?? If switch, then to
what??
I am doing my TMAX 100 (120roll) in TMAX developer (1+4) for 6 1/2 mins.
(24 degress cel, 75 degrees)

Thank you for letting me ask these questions. I know I may seem a little
pathetic with all these questions, but I live in an artistic and cultural
wasteland... Plymouth, IN.

Respectfully,

Kirk B. Davis
