Exposure suggestions needed in a hurry

Greetings,
I'm leaving for New Mexico tomorrow to shoot documentary shots of a missile
launch. I plan to use Kodak High Speed Infrared in one camera to get the
high contrast between the dark sky and the rocket contrail - which is white
in the visible. The launch will be 30 minutes after local sunrise. There
will be no chance for bracketing and I haven't been able to make any test
shots (I know, poor preparation).
I used to shoot nudes in the landscape on HIE by setting an exposure index
of 250 and using TTL metering with a 25A filter - results were good but I
never shot this early in the day, or in the high desert. I will be shooting
due north with a 24 mm lens. Stark white gypsum in the foreground. I'll be
shooting an OM-4T with 120 backing paper on the dimpled pressure plate.
Any suggestions for exposure?
Thanks
Gary Edwards
