There are still a few boxes of 4x5 HSI available if you are willing
to look for it. As you probably know, Kodak discontinued the film for
a number of reasons.
You make an interesting point about the potential for difference in
halation effects between HSI and HIE. My guess is that there will be
little measurable difference between the two films.
This is not an excuse to start talking about pin prick holes in the
emulsion layer - please hold yourselves back if you were thinking
about it ;-)
