Re: Some new imagery!
Keith:
Nice work! I like the infrared images of the 2 models, you got some good
stuff there. Out of curiosity: was there any specific theme to the shoot, or
just to obtain imagery? I only ask because I'm a fashion photographer from
Milwaukee, and I'm always working with themes or ideas for more dynamic
posing and results - wether that be commercial or catalog or editorial, etc.
And are you processing your own negs/printing your own prints? Printing
looks great, although my IR printing tends to be a little contrastier (a
result of Rodinal).
Did you print your own crossed stuff? The images look amazingly
color-correct for E6 crossed, which makes me tend to believe that they are
machine prints. Even without pushing/pulling the film for saturation, there
is generally a stronger yellow hue to skintones, as well as the shift
towards blue-greenand; yet yours look perfect. Even when I'm printing my
color crossed work, it's next to impossible to lose all the yellow hue! The
pic's are great in composition, keep up the good work! :)
