Hello from new member!

Hi. My name is Charles, and I am a new member of the infrared mailing list.
I haven't shot b&w infrared yet. I plan to do that this spring.

My specialty is color infrared (Kodak EIR). I have gotten some intensely
funky and interesting results with this film! It is my favorite film. I
started using it about 3 years ago. It takes a brief time to tame it, but
once I got a handle on exposure, the rest was easy. I am in the process of
designing a Web Page, which shows off some of my best work, and gives
suggestions for EIR newbies.

Which brings me to a question: Is anyone using the HP Photosmart Scanner
S20? I am thinking of buying a used one. Have you gotten good results for
slides and negs: that is sharp, colorful images with a minimum of spurious
noise?
