Re: IR Flash

I`ve used a Canon AE1 P with a Canon 188A flash with a red plastic  filter 
taped to it. The results were good. ( balanced/fill flash for indoor 
portraits) I`ve never noticed it even getting hot. I`m sure if you don`t fire 
it continuously, this type of filter will work well. I`ve seen many sizes of 
snap on plastic filters in bins at camera shows for little money. Thomas
