help finding book title

Slightly off-topic...

A year ago or so I borrowed a book from my local library, which was a 
photographic reference manual. I don't remember the title or author... I 
know, I know, what do I expect to do now?

It was published between 1970 and 1980. It was about 7" by 4", and 3 inches 
thick, having perhaps 700 pages or more. It was a technical reference, 
detailing methods, chemistry, light metering, and other technical topics.

Ring any bells with anyone?
