Hmm....unlike Luvdove (sorry, forgot your real name, that's the risk
of using aliases....;)), I haven't been able to create much
interesting EIR shots in either snow or winterized Alps, at least not
in the midst of winter....often the red lacks completely (depending
on type of tree, other times the red-on-white is almost too
'poppy'....
But, with the exception of a rather peculiar & 'eiry' EIR application:
nighttime shooting, snow cover, urban area (floodlights, not sodium I
believe), and last but not least: fireworks, close enough to warrant
a circular fisheye....and all this without any filter. The
combination of snow and tungsten floodlight gives a bright, light
blueish/greenish background, while the other lights appear almost
normal, and the colors of the firework are quite intense (also an
application that begs for a circular fisheye....hope to repeat it one
day with a Kowa 19mm fisheye for 6x6, together with
70mm-cut-down-to-120-format Aerochrome IR....if a 52mm circle is better than
a 22mm one....:))

A bit more outerworldish are moonlight shots (same background, but
otherwise clear sky of course).

Will try to dig out some samples from my archive....also hope to
have gained a few more EIR experimental results from this winter's
skiing, including tele shots of artificial lights (anyone on this list done much
night time shooting with EIR?).
