RE: 18a filter

I have taken just a couple of shots with the B+W 403, which I believe to be
quite similar.  The colours are very overkill in my opinion as most of the
image is made up of purple/violet with just a bit of red from any IR
reflectance in the scene.  Of course the Tiffen might have a different
transmission curve to the B+W as that only allows about 30-40% IR through as
opposed to about 80% of the UV.

As for exposure, if I remember correctly I used the camera (Cannon EFM) on
Auto and set at 320 asa and bracketed with the best being +1 stop, this did
give a reasonable exposure of about 1 sec at f5.6.  These setting might be
wrong as a I kept them on the PC here at work until a IT tech reformatted my
harddrive with out me knowing, and I took them about 18 months ago, so
please run your own tests!
