I had the same experience at one pro lab in Salt Lake City. THey refused to
mount it and sent the film back sleeved and uncut. Since then I have used a
lab in Provo and they have mounted it with no problems or complaints. Just
the opposite, in fact. They are so intrigued by the whole thing that they
all want to see my slides when I pick them up. I guess they don't get many
IR rolls. When I explained the need for absolute darkness to them, they
were happy to oblige and to turn off the LEDs in the processor. No problems
at all.
