I think the best way to do it is with Pakon or similar plastic mounts.
They have a pocket you can open with two fingers and then carefully insert
the transparency, holding it in maybe with a microfiber cloth. It takes a
little experience to do it fast, so maybe it's better to try first with
unexposed parts of the film.. Always be careful that
the mount doesn't touch the image. Pakon has also a do-it-yourself
system, with light, cutter, ruler and other gadgets. Don't waste your
money. t's cumbersome, does not make life easier and will be in your next
yard sale.
