To throw a few cents more into this, consider that the spectral
sensitivity curve of HIE shows that it is about .75 log (5.6x or 2.5
stops) more sensitive to UV than to IR. If you are using a UV short-pass
filter with the same type of curve as your typical IR filter, then the
required exposure will be this much less. This is a practical way to
compare the UV vs IR sensitivity for this film. To compare the UV
sensitivities of this film and the Fuji 400T slide film is another
matter, but I wouldn't begin to try predict it without knowing the
sensitivity to UV light relative to visible light. Fuji 400T slide film
may have UV blocking filters built in.
