I've had Acrobat Reader installed on my system since Vrsion 2, but
only ever as an off-line reader. As a plug-in it's just a nuisance.
Also, optimising your site for 1024 x 768 is a BIG mistake, often made
by people who think of themselves as professional Web designers. Only
a minority of people use this size of screen compared to 800 x 600.

On the matter of plug-ins, don't confuse 'new' with 'useful',
'desirable' or 'good'. All the technologies you mention have a
positive influence on Web sites in a tiny minority of cases. Mostly
they just encourage surfers to hit the 'back' button.

Without considering the images, I'm afraid your site is the most
unfriendly and awkward photo gallery I have ever seen. Subscribe to
http://www.useit.com/alertbox/ for usability issues.
