Digital Colour IR Images in CoCam Gallery

There are six new images in the CoCam Gallery. Three of these are
from Colin McLaughlan and are inspiring in terms of what can be done
with digital technology.

The images are very strong and were taken around Las Vegas. Colin has
developed a process to create images using a digital camera which
emulate some aspects of Kodak Infrared EIR colour transparency film.
There will be a new section in the Infrared FAQ soon on how to carry
out this process.

The remaining three photos show the effects of using CoCam R72 and
88A Infrared Filters with a digital camera. These are straight images
with no post manipulation.  The interpretation of colours made by the
camera was unexpected and rather striking using an R72 filter.  Some
of the scene was backlit and the colours in the clouds are
particularly interesting.

I had noticed the colour effect before but Colin's recent posting
about using an Olympus C2000Z digital camera reminded me of my first
experiments with a similar camera using infrared filters.
