RE: Webring

Hi,

I'm not sure if someone has already addressed this, but some members of the
list may not be interested in participating in a webring based on Yahoo. I
would like to join, but because the TOS of the Yahoo webring gives them the
right to use any content included in webring sites, I choose not to
surrender my copyright, and this decline participating. The paragraph is as
below:

"With respect to Content you submit or make available for inclusion on
publicly accessible areas of Yahoo! Clubs and Yahoo! Groups, the license to
use, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, publicly perform and publicly
display such Content on the Service solely for the purposes of providing and
promoting the specific Yahoo! Club or Yahoo! Group to which such Content was
submitted or made available."

I would prefer not to have my images used without my permission, and to
control the products and services they are associated with.

There are other webring methods out there, and you might consider moving the
IR webring to one with less sweeping conditions of use.
