Which Nikon CoolPix are you using? Am interested as it has been
suggested that the CCD in the 950 is the same as the one used in the
Olympus 2000Z. There are marked differences between the colour in
your images and those in mine using the 2000Z. I guess the camera
software will have some effect on the resulting images - that and the
nature of the infrared blocking filter used in front of the CCD.
Do like the cityscapes btw - in particular downtown.jpg. Haven't
looked at all of the images but the tree-grove.jpg comes closest to
images from the 2000Z.
I share your enjoyment of the "False-Colour" digital infrared and
have had very positive feedback from some people - which was
surprising as a few of them had a rather negative view of digital
imagery before.....
You have probably seen the posts describing the new digital
False-Colour images in the CoCam Gallery and CoCam does of course
supply 89B infrared filters.
