Infrared Video

Greetings,

I am a Ph.D. psychologist and an independent consultant in market research,
based in San Francisco. I became interested in infrared video a few years
back, and have recently written a handbook on infrared video recording
called "ExTreme Camcorder" which can be found at
http://www.infraredvideo.com

I am attempting to promote the artistic benefits of infrared video to the
world of camcorder users. As you know, CCDs are very sensitive to infrared
light up to about 1200 nm. Certain Sony and Panasonic camcorders which have
"0-Lux" recording capability are capable of rendering remarkable infrared
images when equipped with a high cut-off infrared passing filter, as well as
ND filters to reduce over-saturation of the CCD.
