Perhaps it is my technique, which is as follows - Photos shot at EI 200 (I
shall bracket next time), Wratten Red 25 Filter, Autumn in mid afternoon
sunlight, Use Rodinal 1:25 at 20 degrees Celsius (68F) for 9 minutes (start
temp of 19degC, finish temp of 22degC). I agitated for the first minute and
then once every thirty seconds thereafter. I have noted in some
correspondence on the net that agitating three time per minute for this
film, however of the correspondence I have read on Kodak HIE, there is quite
a bit of inconsistent information.

LIGHT SPILLAGE BEYOND THE EDGE OF THE FRAME HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH
TECHNIQUE. SPILLAGE IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO THE REFLECTIVITY OF THE FILM
PRESSURE PLATE. WITH THE NIKON N90S YOU HAVE AN BLACK ANODIZED ALUMINUM
PLATE. IT LOOKS BLACK UNDER VISIBLE LIGHT, BUT IS LIKE A SHINNY MIRROR UNDER
IR ILLUMINATION. TO REDUCE SPILLAGE AND HALATION EFFECTS TAPE SOME BLACK
PAPER OR A WIDE STRIP OF ELECTRICAL TAPE OVER THE PRESSURE PLATE.

PEACE, ROLLAND
