They seem to be.  They do have more pincushion distortion than I would
normally associate with achromats however. It is possible that it is a
set of DCX lenses.

About an inch.  These are used, however, and have a few dings and
scratches.

You are correct, it is 4x and not 50mm FL.  They are not perfect but
still built very solidly.  I use them as a mounting aid.
