A new member has joined us today:  Bill Glickman, an active
medium and large format photographer interested in getting
started in medium/large format stereo.

Bill was asking me about shooting stereo with a field
camera, and using the camera's shift capabilities to
provide the "cha-cha" effect (while keeping the film
plane parallel to the front element to avoid keystone
distortion).  I think I've seen some discussion of this
techinique on the list before, but I don't even recall
whether it got thumbs up or thumbs down.  It's well
outside my area of expertise, so if anyone can post a
quick synopsis for Bill, we'd both be most grateful!
