Hi John,

Thanks for your tip. Any idea how it reacts to shellac? The reason I ask is
that a lot of the brass parts on this camera have had some of the brass
scratched off, so where the brass is in contact with the air it has turned
black. The ideal situation would be to coated the new brass with shellac,
scratch it off in a few places and try the liver of sulfur. That way I'd
have authentic looking oxidised scratches!!!
