[MF3D.FORUM:447] Hello
Paul asked that we, as new members, should say hello and make
ourselves known.
So---Hello to all on the listing.
Me---I am into medium photography only slightly although I could get
very hooked!! I purchased a Yashicamat G when they were still
available. I did get mine used, but it was in very fine shape. I
then got the close-up attachments for it but never anything else
(darn).
A couple years ago, I "discovered" stereo photography and managed to
get a Realist which was one of the first batch available. I did add
a Revere but as I got into Photo-3D, I got aware of the Jasper
products and got his slide bar to use with my Olympus I had "given"
to me. I have now added another Olympus so I shoot two at the same
time.
Then I got using the slide bar with the Yashicamat and was very happy
with the results. So now I am into building a view box to use with
slides I take with my camera--slide bar setup.
This may sound "simplistic" to many but first I had to learn about
stereo photography. And, I guess I am still experimenting with how I
want to do stereo photography. I have had a whole lot of fun with
the slide bar--35 mm camera setup over the past year or so and now am
trying it all out with the Yashicamat. And, to me, the bottom line
is that I get some good pictures and have fun.
