For those of you who keep track of such things:
The objectives (2-element, cemented, coated) of a pair of Simmons 20x50
binoculars are approximately 150mm fl, 53mm in diameter, and more than
cover 4x5. They also have a slotted, easily removed, front accessible,
retaining ring. Used price about $30 including the binoculars.
