I like the number Greg E. mentioned, because after sanding two adjacent sides
of a pair of Horizon loupes until I could "see" through the black plastic, that is
the separation I arrived at, and that will have to do for the time being. One J.
Bercovitz drawing I downloaded specs 65 mm. other sources I looked at spec'ed
a few mm less. On my "ultimate" viewer (if I ever build it) I would like adjustable
interoccular.
 
And now, more comments on Bill Glickmans travails: I assume the cameras are
"shooting" parallel in these discussions? Has convergence or "toe-in" reared its
head yet?
